Someone had told me that you want to get rid of methadone. Please think about that…….Methadone has kept me clean for 9 months and it has helped me start a new life without the drugs. I am grateful for the Methadone Maintenance Program.

I like this and i think its great you guys are trying. It saddens me you fail to realise that Obama is nothing but a puppet who works for the people who dont want marijuana legalized. Ya…. the President of the United States Of America…. nothing but a puppet. You really think he got elected on his own? hi barrack obama hi i just wanted to say that i think that the use of marijuna medical or street marijuna should be made legal cause its not fair we are the united states of america land of freedom we should be able do what we want at long as we are not hurting anyone so marijuna should be made legal 100% legal and should be sold in a stores just like cigaretts or alcohol people all they want is to have a little fun chill out and the goverment wants to put you in jail for what for a plant thats what it is just like cigaretts and its less harful to the human body than cigaretts cigaretts have 6,0000 chemicals and marijuna gots 400 chemicals so i think this should all be sorted out and we should have equal rights the shouldnt put you in jail fOR plant i mean come on dosent any body agree with me if you want to smoke marijuna or(weed) you should have the rights so i think it should be made legal MARIJUNA IS NOT A DRUG ITS JUST APLANT the other stuff like crack herione or ex. etc is the drugs we need to get rid of come on barrack obama you confess yourself that u used marijuna so if u tried it u got to know its not all that bad like people say it is so please be fair with the people and give the people what they want ps i think doctors should give people marijuna that have depression cause it it the best clamer relaxer and best anti deppsanit there is out the so LEGALIZE ANY TYPE OF MARIJUNA STREET MARIJUNA OR MEDICAL JUST GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT CAUSE IF U DONT AND IT REMAINS IILEGAL THAN PEOPLE THAT USE MEDICAL OR STREET MARIJUNA DONT CARE IF IT IS LEGAL OR NOT SO STOP WASTING PEOPLES TIME AND JUST LEGALIZE IT

keep your promise and change the laws…my son inlaw is wasting his life away in a federal prison over marijuana when murders and child molesters run the streets.. he was a great father and made sure his kids were taken care of.. now his kids are living in poverty with one parent.. and my daughter is always worring how she can pay the bills..right now in the middle of winter her electricity is shut off…… maybe if her husband wasn’t sitting in prison for 15 years over a possession charge maybe their lifes would be better….

Great video letter to Obama. Now we need another one asking for a National Referendum on Legalizing Marijuana as our safest drug of choice(alcohol and tobacco kill hundreds of thousands annually).
Raise the federal tax on a pack of cigarettes to $7.00, as France just did. Tax marijuana and eliminate the national debt. Legalize Hemp production for better paper products; longer wearing clothing; and ethanol production.
It’s the answer to a great many problems.

I would like to congradulate you on your Presidential win, and as an American am thankful that the American people have evolved enough to welcome the change that your Administration will bring to the American people. It is my understanding that hemp was once a legal and profitable crop in the United States, it became illegal during the prohibition era. I believe that every American, should be given the choice of marijuana use, be it for medical or recreational purposes. It is a natural God given plant, and its uses are many. It is time for Americans to have the freedom of choice. As stated above, there are many man made medications with much worse side effects, prescribed by physicians daily. Please consider the legalization of marijuana.

Hello Mr. President, I totally agree with all things said in this video. I suffer greatly from Multiple Sclerosis and Marijuana really does help with sleeping, appetite, and nerves in general. I am highly allergic to any form of Narcotic pain medication. I would live every day in severe distress and pain if it were not for marijuana. I am going to ask my conservative Christian doctor to essentially break federal Law. AS a highly intelligent man, how would you respond to a request like that if you even thought for a second that you would jeopardize your career? Marijuana HAS to be removed from a Schedule 1 status in order for this to truly work and Doctors absolutely NEED TO KNOW that they will not be dragged into court over a senseless legal issue. Also, Federal government mandates and wasteful expenditures MUST STOP. Please Mr. President, try to do what’s best for suffering patients. I’m really too sick to get arrested again. They took away my wheelchair and I had to crawl on my swollen hands and knees to my isolation cell because they said I could use my wheelchair for a weapon. I was denied all my medication. That’s why they put me in solitary confinement for a week. They had no idea how I would react from being denied all my medications that I’ve been taking regularly for ten years now. I considered it- especially for simple possession of Marijuana “Cruel and unusual punishment” and I just heard you said “America does not torture”. Torture and legal robbery via the Racketeering Laws that are being used on poverty stricken and sick American citizens to seize legally obtained property are both Evil and unjust. So please consider the costs if anything in this unwinnable war against old and sick tax paying citizens who respect all other Laws. Thank you for any consideration in this matter considering all that is on your table right now. I don’t envy you, it’s going to be a hard fight to undo all that’s messed up due to our last administration. Good Luck in all things.
