An Arizona family describes why they support the need for a medical marijuana law.

    Why are the racist ramblings of a lunatic like Harry J. Anslinger, over seventy years ago, still the rule of law?
    Could it be that we have reached such a level of ignorance and apathy that we will simply accept anything were told to do without question?

    Rick Romley is a retired county attorney (with a grudge). What is his problem with marijuana anyway ? He sounds like an old man that doesn’t want marijuana legalized simply because he doesn’t like it. Who cares what this guy thinks, and why is he a reliable source of information ?

    Rick Romley is like most Politicians and Law Enforcement officials. They will stop at the very last drop of your blood!!! History is full of people like him who are willing to throw the sick away in order to have what they want. Hitler did this to the disabled and infirm in His country. One day they just vanished. I lived in Germany for 2 and a half years and got a chance to visit Dachau Concentration camp. You can actually feel the evil there. Now present day Germany Cannabis is a legal Medicine for Tourette Syndrome. So if even Germany can admit that Cannabis is Medicine as Well as Israel which has it as a treatment for PTSD for their soldiers. Why can’t we as well. It is People like Rick Romley who if born in a different time would be proud Nazi concentration camp quards, oh my mistake , he would at least be a commandant in the Waffen SS!!!! Whats the matter Rick? Havent you got you quota of Ambulance chasing done this week? Or were you the Punk that picked on the poor children that rode in the little yellow bus?
    You are a heartless excuse for a human being!!! On Judgement day Millions of people will scream guilty at your trial when you stand before my KING!!!!!

    The people against marijuana always tell us it needs to go through the science and testing that all other drugs go through but don’t ever give it a chance to actually test it… think about it.

    I live with torturously painful Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and would have to take twice as much oxycontin without cannabis. I would also be so frequently nauseous and vomiting from all the oral medications that I could not function reliably without cannabis. I would get even less than the alredy extremely meger amount of sleep I get at night without cannabis. Most important, I would suffer so much more pain, nausea, fatigue and depression that I don’t know if I could carry on living at all without the various forms of relief that only cannabis (especilly indica) provides.

    All of you who would support he current prohibition regime are not just my partisan political opposition, but my mortal enemies in a REAL war and I would kill and/or die to defeat you, so that I and others can live a life worth living.

    Romley and friends should spend a few WEEKS with a cancer patient I watched my Mom die of lung cancer and she was a stalwart citizen who had no interest in getting high. When she was in such pain and throwing up we would have used anything to relieve her suffering. Luckily we were in California so we were able to help her. Romley and those like him have no idea what they are talking about and to waste governement time and resources harassing sick people should be a CRIME. My condolences and best wishes for this bill.
