Nice, but what’s interesting is that the other types of medicine that are out there on the market right now this guy is talking about contain Nerve gas agents, you know the stuff they used in WWII. Why is this guy ok with selling alternative pills with nerve gas agents in it Vs. the real deal. Most important why is our government ok with this? its almost as if they enjoy handing out cancer Vs. giving everyone the real deal

Sad to see medical patients suffering get tangled up in narcotics raids/busts because our leaders don’t want to recognize MMJ’s medical properties, even though they have a copyright for its medical properties =O
It looks like he has no energy battling medical cannabis, he would of been more effective if he said “BOO! Marijuana is bad! Fear me!”, then that whole monotonous and boring dialogue he spit out.

Great job Bruce, solid interview. When they brought up the point about people abusing the system to just ‘get high’, be real about it. Just say of course there are going to be people abusing the system, there always will be, but there isn’t much we can do to stop that. People say their back hurts and lie to their Dr.’s to get more painkillers and xanax, it will be no different with marijuana. People abuse things, it is simple as that. But even those who do abuse the medical marijuana system, they aren’t really doing any harm to themselves, or anyone else. We shouldn’t be concerned if there are those who want to smoke a little bit. Maybe we should close bars because people get too drunk.

I was contemplating on an article I’ve recieved yesterday morning on my Home page about the findings at University of Leicester, but it seems that article has disappeared quickly. It seemed misleading when it talked about cannibis smokes causes the changes in DNA that would lead to cancer. My view is that all smoke is not healthy including campfire and outdoor grilling. I believed that pot smokers are better educated now than they were in the past. Taking a big hit and holding it in for a long time is not an effective way in taking your medicine.

While I agree that smoking isn’t the ‘healthiest’ way to ingest cannabis, I wouldn’t go so far as to say it is not an effective way of taking cannabis. For many people, smoking is preferable due to the near immediate effect. Smoking is actually ‘more’ controllable than oral ingestion through foods, pills etc. When taken orally, it can take multiple hours to take effect and can make it harder to tell how much is too much. Smoking allows the user more control over their ‘high’. Oral ingestion can also be much more intense and lasts much longer than with smoking, but it also is a strength of oral ingestion. People with anxiety disorders and panic attacks can greatly benefit from that. Smoking would also be good in situations of severe nausea, so they wouldn’t have to wait for the plant to ‘kick in’. And let’s face it, smoking is much more fun:) But seriously, sick people and others can benefit from the effect of smoking. Smoking cannabis does not cause cancer, emphysema or really, any of the ill effects like we see in tobacco. I would say it ‘may’ cause an increased risk of bronchitis, but not more than that.

What I really meant was a big inhale and holding the smoke in as long as they can hold their breath. It was a myth that holding the smoke in as long as you can will increase the high, but what it does is cause the smoke debris to settle into the lungs. Hey I like to smoke pot and I still do, and I used to hold the smoke in until nothing comes out. There are empty smoke and there are smoke mixed with resin vapors. Once the vaporized resin is gone, then all you have is dry empty smoke. A person who smokes pot for a long time can really tell the difference. I don’t have the data on how fast the body absorbs the resin, but I do know that there are others who can explain it better than I can.

Bruce always does a good job. Forgive my inferrence, but did I just hear yet another argument for rescheduling cannabis coming from the other side?
The funny thing is that cnbc is almost a pro-pot channel now. CNBC reporters almost never side with the anti-pot crowd. Man, two short years ago, things like this were not only unheard of, but practically unthinkable.
Tennessee needs an MPP… the only marijuana bills TN considered this year died (or will soon die) in committee. We’ve got some good politicians on the marijuana issue, but the anti-cannibis side still claims the moral high ground around here. Hell, Tennessee INVENTED alcohol prohibition… it’s quite a mountain to climb, isn’t it?

The only person who wasn’t a tool in this video was Bruce Mirken If the public cannot see through this then I almost give up hope. Im sorry if every one works 9 till 5 and don’t feel the need its necessary to be an investigative journalist. Do the research please this isn’t about conspiracy its about factual evidence and the understanding of corruption at it’s core. Research understand listen.

(Oh by the way, I wished I didn’t mispell the word “threatening” on my last reply.) Mandatory drug testing and brain washing children is one of the lowest point in our society.

I liked the part where Farley said, “We do have medicines to address these problems. There are NUMEROUS legitimate drugs.” No one said we didn’t have the drugs to address these problems… But surely we should be able to choose and tell for ourselves which medicine best helps our individual symptoms. Just like he has the choice in deciding which medicines he takes. For instance, If I am prescribed an antibiotic, I could tell my doctor that one seems to work better than another based on previous prescriptions of those antibiotics. A CHOICE. But we don’t want the narcotics enforcement agent and federal authorities dictating that the public can’t use something that could be beneficial in many patients for many symptoms. Flat-out not being allowed due to this outdated prohibition, which by the way brings in MUCH revenue to the government with its current legal status. I just wish this crazy drug war and witch hunt to overthrow anyone that tries to oppose the government’s view on medicinal marijuana was finally over. Go MPP!

We are allowed the persuit of happiness if someone does something illegal and hurts others while they are persuing then they should be put away for the crime the original persuit, “Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new Government”, the government arresting over 700000 ppl for personal use possesion to me seems that someone is taking ppls freedom for their right to persue what they feel will give them happiness. If the ppl speak the government should listen if they dont our fore fathers were sure to put an escape clause, although i dont suggest all out rebellion yet, next time we go to vote it is time to make sure our voices are heard and get rid of the mighty idiots that think once elected they are there for life!!! ( One last comment be sure to know your rights don’t let them find you and give you a felony conviction because besides being a negative on your background check they also take your voice at the ballot boxes, Hmmm if we lock up all the pot heads then they cant vote against us? just a thought)

The police, DEA, and drug bureaucrats all see the potential bubget losses, so of course they freak. Thousands of people abuse prescription pain relievers daily, yet they would rather focus on a plant that has been used for thousands of years with little to no ill effects. When cigarettes were brought up, he should of responded, “They’ve funded my operation for years through taxes and donations. Let them kill another 250,000 a year.” What a jerk.
