This is the kind of negative publicity we do not need. “Marijuana smokers are in search of the next high” makes cannabis users sound like fiends who have this horribly addictive habit. CNN has gone too far this time. We need to get actual information out there to a widespread audience, take control and stop letting former drug czars who are afraid to lose their cash flow keep scaring Americans. This entire segment is a slap in the face and a scare tactic.

i feel this video is conflicted. through the whole video she keeps talkin down to the wholw argument like it was carzy to even talk about it. then the searching for their next high comment with the old women picture shows how ridiculous that comment and mind set are. just confusing is all i thought.

I first want to give my thanks and God’s blessings to Congressman Barney Frank a Democrat of Mass for taking the courageous initiative to put an end to the frivolous incrimination and incarceration of adult responsible users of marijuana, as God intended. May I also add that the suggested ID card system to purchase, obtain possession, be incorporated into this bill along with the same regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverages, so to further keep control of its access to adults only who chose to use Marijuana responsibly. Organized product labeling as to its potency and its different varieties, along with education of its proper use and for health purposes a medical certificate of approval from one primary care physician should also be required before obtaining an ID card for its use.

if we were to regulate it like alcohol and cigs then that would completely ruin medical marijuanas purpose. Once you mass produce it like that it would destroy the quality of it. it wouldnt be grown correctly. It would be grown using tons of bad fertilizers and most likely grown cheaply which in turn degrades it, they would do so to maximize profit. These horrible drug companies would most likely take over the production of our medical marijuana and destroy its value. The fact that they said its reached a potency of 30% is completely and utterly ridiculous. That statement proves that the governments research is invalid. I do agree with labeling it with its real potency and with its different qualities and benefits. I also agree with proper education on its proper purpose. but we should also allow it to be used for recreational purposes when you reach the age of 18. If you can die going to war for your country then you should be able to smoke/eat a little “medicine”.to end my post i will say one last thing mass producing anything is not smart and is not good for anyone.

This is the stupidest stuff I’ve ever heard and i am pissed. More trips to the E.R. because of marijuana! Kids being suicidal because of it! Come on now this is just ignorant people who don’t even know the facts spewing out a bunch of garbage. I support the legalization of marijuana both for medicinal and recreational purposes. weed can save the world and pull this country out of debt. Support the MPP.

i dont remember marijuana effecting my dopamine receptors or seretonin receptors ( the receptors that deal with your decision making and emotions) so i would love to see these facts she is presenting on children being more suicidal.
George Washington got stoned all the damn time same with Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin. Franklin even said he would miss the hemp festival for the world. I’m pretty sure that when they were creating and sculpting America they didn’t commit suicide.

Marijuana has always been the same in potency, it just depends on where you get it from. We used to get our Cannabis from Mexico, it was full of stems and seeds, and was the cheapest version complete with crushing it into blocks or bricks. Back in the 60’s from time to time cannabis would show up called “Alcapolco Gold”, “Michuacan”, “Panama Red”,
“Columbian” “Afghanistan” and the like, along with “Kif” or “Hash”. These always had more THC than Mexican Ragweed, we just didn’t see it that much. The ignorants in Washington lie to us continuously and try to scare us like they try to scare us with what God will do to us if we don’t listen to them. They are full of poo-poo-caa-caa-doo-doo and have an agenda. Ralph

I smoke much less now than in 1980. I used to roll joints the size of my fingers (one time, end to end with an orange ZigZag). Now I take a couple of hits from my vaporizer. I’d like to invite G.W. Bush over (we’re practically neighbors) and maybe he can clue his drug czar in on how there is no way hecould smoke as much of this $hit as he used to in the ’80’s.
