Dan did make a great point about students losing college education.

In Illinois on July 15, 2009 ISAC reported the loss of student MAP Grants due to shortcomings in the Illinois 2010 fiscal budget deficit. This means a $2,500 loss for students that already were receiving MAP Grants for their financial situation. That’s just the beginning of what is to come. Worst part is that school years operate different than fiscal years which means students will be losing the $2,500 in the middle of this school year for the spring of 2010 semesters.

Something that Cannabis taxes could have more than levied.

I’m sure the War on Drugs budget for local and state police was untouched!

  2. Great job Mr. Dan Bernath……..great composure and clearly spoken. :-)

I don’t know anyone who watches Russia Today. I had never heard of it until now. While it’s great that Dan was able to be on and be articulate, it does us little good. This needs to be on all the major networks that AMERICANS watch. After what that sonofafuckingbitch Kerlikowski pulled today, I’m ready for the REVOLUTION!!! That motherfucker needs to be removed from office.

i like how dan presents his case. if california dosn’t legalize it another state will. that is 100% true. Marijuana will be legal soon. I think it will be soon with in a couple of years

I hate to say it, but I fully agree with Mark. We need more mainstream coverage.

Thank You! Thank You! Although I do agree there needs to be more coverage of such things, should we really scoff a such wonderful words of wisdom? I think if we want more “coverage” maybe we should all get off our butts and start spreading the word. Everything he said is how we feel so spread the word. There is ALOT of ignorance in the world so we must make those people see, the truth, the reality of things. My g-pa has MS and would smoke or eat it if legal he is a law abiding citizen and suffers incredible pain daily. People like this need us to speak up. Cause right now he can barely speak!

Why can’t we just get congress to test whether pot has no medical value by allowing testing groups like colleges and hospitals to do doubleblind studies. Allow them medical grade pot and if it shows value medically then reschedule! Problem solved!

Thank you very much. I just have one thing to say, A gov. for the people and by the people. So why does our Gov. not do what the people want. They continue to put everything off. Maybe we should vote in some new legislators that will do what the people want and not what they want.

IT IS WAY PAST TIME THAT THE “GOVERNMENT” DID AWAY WITH THEIR
“LAWS” THAT PROVIDE PROSECUTION FOR THE PEOPLE TO EXERCISE A GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO THE USE OF “EVERY GREEN HERB THAT
GROWS IN THE FIELD”, AS GIVEN IN SEVERAL PLACES IN THE BIBLE.

THE GOVT. MAKES US (WHEN IN A COURT OF LAW) SWEAR AN OATH
ON THE BIBLE,YET THEY PASS LAWS THAT DENY US THE RIGHTS
GIVEN IN THE SAME BOOK. IT IS OBVIOUS THEY HAVE NEVER READ
OR UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD. ARE WE A NATION UNDER GOD OR NOT? TICK,TICK,TICK !!!
    GENMAN

Just think of all the money that will be freed up from the legalization….Not to mention all the money that can be earned by the production…We are talking about jobs for people that do not have them and no longer putting people in jail that otherwise lead perfectly legal lives…People that do not approve can continue their ways and I will always respect their right. It is time that the world that profits off drugs, that can cause everything from difficulty to breath to thoughts of suicide and in some commercials they even admit a little case of death, to allow consenting adults to treat their issues in a way that might not be any worse than what is already out there
