Thanks for myth busting. I also own my own business, I employ 2 part time workers.. I work 70 hours a week at the very minimum. I am open and deal with my clients and the public 10 hours a day 7 days a week. I am regulated by my state and guess what everyone, I enjoy an easy vape each night after work rather than a drink. Then I cook, clean house have fun with my family and go to bed. Up at 6:30 a.m. to work out and start the day again. I beg to differ with any lazy comments. My bet is that Obama’s approval rating will be less than the approval rating of Cannabis Legalization by March of 2010. We shall see… Yes we Cannabis.

Someone ask Michael Phelps if he thinks toking up and winning all those gold medals resulted in him being a lazy burnout. It certainly hasn’t stopped him from continuing to enjoy what he loves in doing with his life.

Great job again for making strong and clear arguments in the very short amount of time they give you.

Awesome interview, Rob! That is one of the best ones yet. It was great to see how well you debunked the myth regarding an “epidemic with a nation of stoners” in regards to legalization, which is a very ludicrous myth. It was apparent by the end of the interview, that the hosts were in agreement with what you were saying. They can’t argue with the truth and facts!

I would have totally thrown in that guys face the hypocrisy of sitting at a BAR CONSUMING ALOCHOL and him trying ot make an arguement against ending prohibition. I mean come on…. really? The alcohol industry would not exist as it does today if it weren’t for the repeal of prohibition in 1933. Alcohol would be sitting right along side cannabis in our currently illicit market, and it would be getting more attention due to the horrible impact it has on society and your health. I would have posed the question: If alcohol and tobacco were illegal today do you feel as if the United States would legalize it? And If you do then how do you justify marijuana being illegal based on what we know about Alcohol and tobacco. If you dont think the United States would legalize them, then how do you justify that they are?, and widely accepted and used? I mean think McFly, Think!

Am I having a flashback? Didn’t they just do this “bimbo in a BAR running down weed” thing a few months ago? I’m almost positive I saw it before, probably in the same bar. This is the only place I ever see faux news.

That format worked really well for you. You should try to stress the amount of jobs that could be created nationally and how the tax money generated could bail out the states. If you had a bill that can do those 2 things with huge numbers I think people would be more receptive.
Great job all around…..

I am seeing a real turnaround on Fox News. They seem to have softened up on marijuana as of late.
I honestly stopped watching the channel after seeing some of their completely biased reports on marijuana, and how they treated anyone who was pro legalization.

God damn it!!! Why do they use those horrible puns.
Is it high time to legalize marijuana? Or just a pipe dream? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Good interview though…

The “Very Serious Athlete” has a few problems with his logic.
1. He’s acting like his “small rural town in New Mexico” is somehow representative of the whole U.S. Ha! (Good job in bringing some of the larger world to bear Rob, by referencing gov. surveys.)
2. Somehow he got the impression, perhaps a screed from a prohibitionist over at the NYT, that once marijuana is legalized, everyone will suddenly become infected with refer madness. This always makes me laugh, somehow they are the only iron-willed people who have control of their desires, but everyone else is a sorry hedonist that runs from one pleasure to the next.
3. When we ended alcohol prohibition, did the whole country run out and get drunk non-stop? I’ve seen graphs around the net and they show that consumption did go up some, but it leveled off. Certainly it was not the end of the world many said.
I don’t know enough about history to say, but maybe the staunch prohibitionists of the early 1900’s were humiliated by the fact that alcohol consumption being legal again didn’t cause the fall of society. It could be that today’s prohibitionists are afraid of this happening to them: legalize marijuana and the world doesn’t end.
But even the Wizard of Oz could see his illusions were crashing down around him, he hid behind the curtain and said “ignore the man behind the curtain” a whole lot, but to no avail, the truth seekers rooted him out and he finally fessed up.

I hate when people think marijuana smokers are lazy. What about alcohol drinkers, theyre violent. Would you rather be violent or lazy? Actually its kind of opposite with me. After smoking, I’m not lazy. Probably because doing things are better when you’re high. Like cooking, cleaning, laundry, and etc. Weird? Maybe but it works for me. LOL

Excellent work Rob, this is one of the best bits of airtime yet. Yes, more intense arguments and greater victories were had over John Walters and such, but this was undeniably positive coverage. Good work on your feet, you’re getting much better at processing these ridiculous things people like to throw at you.

Nice reporting Faux. Two babes and the long haired in a bar. How does he get off calling pot users lazy? I have worked my ass off since i was 13. 23 years of working, never unemployed. the only day i had to take off work was to appear in court for possession. I can run circles around that guy. Lets trade jobs for a week. I get to hang with babes in a bar, he gets to work his ass off.

Great job! If sometimes you feel weary from the fight, reread the comments here and from your other appearances…it will remind you of truly great work you are doing for us and America…we love you rob!! (you too BRuce)

Great job. We will win this fight. Prohibition always fails. All we ever attain from prohibition is violence and wasted money. The drug war was a Nixon policy, and may have been one of his worst. And that is saying something.

I’m curious as to why MPP is supporting a bill which would TAKE AWAY people’s rights to grow medical marijuana, and create huge profits for the burgeoning dispensary industry?

Who is that long haired guy and why can’t he come up with any decent argument? How many drinks has he had exactly? Lets talk public policy while getting hammered!!! Maybe that is why the MPP spokesman is the only one how can come up with a logical argument, cause he is stoned and everyone else is drunk.

I’M AGAINST THIS ATTEMPT TO PUT DISPENSING IN THE HANDS OF THE ALREADY FILTY-RICH DRUG-COMPANIES!
We should be able to grow it ourselves on the back pourch! We’ll still get busted for growning it ourselves if this passes!
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! California is about to join hands with the Pfizer, Merek, etc
to solve it’s financial problem instead of taxing Rich Corprorations like Pfizer, Merek, etc.
!!!!!NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!

Legalizing Marijuana will then open the door to more herbal remedies as cures. uh oh …not only drugs can cure a disease?
Bring down the walls of laws that destroy our Society and keep us dependent on “their” drugs for “their” profit!!!

I want to thank you Rob for heading this long and arduous campaign with such persistence and credible knowledge of facts and statistics. You and the MPP staff and members have brought into light the silent majorities use of Marijuana in not just for its pastime recreational purposes that every one knows about, but now for its scientific and medical values to the public who have been opposing it because of the negative propagandist publicity Ads from the DEA and Marijuana antagonist, who are most likely supported by the black market drug gangs, who do not want to see their revenues from this product depleted.
However inasmuch as it is not MPP’s objective to design or suggest ethical standards within the appropriated use or how not to abuse of Marijuana, I think that it would be appropriate to some how staff a separate group that will come up with appropriate instructions, rules and guideline towards the responsible use of Marijuana, so that the academics and warnings will be established towards the novice user towards their sound behavior, under the influence. We do not want another incident like the lady who drove on the opposite side of the highway under the influence of Marijuana and alcoholic beverages to put a damper on the good that Marijuana can do with its responsible use. Thank you again and God blesses you.
