I am listening to this video while I type this and will tell anyone who wants to listen that I have severe coronary artery disease and diabetes as well as bi-polar disease. I smoke pot because it relieves the symptoms of the 14 different prescription medications I take for heart disease alone: much less diabetes, which is in itself a horrible disease in that your life can be consumed trying to control it. So this is my take on the whole thing. Legalize it for revenue. You know the government will not pass up a potential source of revenue as we fight terriorism around the world.

it could be used but also to help kids in this nation who go to bed every day hungry.

Robert Gibbs is the press secretary. His job is to be politically correct. Obama cannot be viewed as the man who legalized marijuana. But what the administration IS doing is taking a step back. If republicans were still in office would we be seeing all of this progress? No, we’d still be dreaming of a future where we are free to use. But now that dream is in the process of becoming a reality. It’s also very interesting to see the press corps really getting riled up about the issue. David corn of Mother Jones even tried to relate it to the Mexican drug war. Don’t lose faith in Obama or the movement. Watch the progression on mpp.org a couple weeks ago we’d see Aaron or Bruce getting minute long segments on cnbc. Now we have the today show and other big names really opening their minds. That’s all.

Uh, Uh, Ha Ha Uh. We need more intellegent people in the white house. It sickens me to see how they don’t take this subject seriously. Geez we’re talking about a non-toxic remedy that could potentialy sew up a large amounts of problems the U.S is facing. Maybe we just need to keep fighting with the Mexican distributors. Why?! Our country should control it’s own, what’s our government here for?

This is a delaying tactic, Perhaps the current administration has plans for the Medicalization of Marijuana and the Protection of Patients who need help first. The Legalization of Marijuana will be the swan song of the Drug Cartels and The Government has a time table for most things, and this one is not due to happen for the current administration. Robert Gibbs is THE WORST White House spokesman I have ever seen in my time alive. The press is asking valid questions and this a-hole is making a joke out of the thousands of people using the herb to treat serious medical ailments. If that is not SICK then I don’t know what is. This guy might as well just have a bunch of prerecorded messages from Obama on him, a string coming out of his back, and every time the press asks a question, someone should just pull that string and listen to the prerecorded message. Shame on the U.S. Government for continuing on their path of IGNORANCE.
