What does legalizing pot have to do with the playboy mansion? Are a bunch of bubbleheads really the way to get people to take this cause seriously? Whats next, have Kendra be the spokesperson?

Wake up everyone, "WE THE PEOPLE" are no longer in power. Nor have we arguably ever been. There is an undoubtedly agreed upon view pertaining to this topic (marijuana), yet for some awful reason we are still unable to solidify it's legitimacy into a "Law". Why is that? Could it be that those that we have (so-called) chosen to represent us have been given too much power? So much power that they are now a counterproductive force that must now be overcome before “We The People” can even do what is right for ourselves. Not as a nation, but as human beings.

There are good politicians and there are bad politicians, (morally), and I am not chastising the government. WE have created the proverbial bed that we now lie in, WE have allowed our elected officials to rise to such levels as to no longer hear the faint cry's of the citizens. Ourselves, we WERE the problem. But NOW, now that we are beginning to evolve from the mass ignorance that is undoubtedly our past, we have a new enemy. And that enemy is the menacing coagulation of corporate influenced politicians, corporate media and the never ending hierarchy of the super wealthy.

Please, don't just open your eyes, open your mind. Ignorance is the downfall of any society. Research information, question those who decide for you and voice your opinion. We have given ourselves one of the greatest means of communication, the internet. USE IT! If you question facts given to you on marijuana, then research them. Think of where we might be today if we had the luxury of the endless knowledge that we have now, just 70-80 years ago. The anti-marijuana propaganda of the past would never have survived, it would have been de-bunked the moment that first DuPont backed drug czar started spewing his corporate mandated nonsense.

Don't just be another census number, or ballot. Think for yourself.

I can not spend 500 dollers for a top line vaporizer. Till then I choose to smoke my one hitter, 5 dollers. Canabis pills cost 900 dollers a month. 2 ounces of nug 800 dollers. Home grown nugs, less than 40 dollers an ounce to grow.

Although some people will not like the location, I have to thank Hugh Heffner and the entire Playboy family for hosting this event. Playboy has always stressed Freedom to do something increadible, which is to love. Even if it is very naughty, I have to say that the creator in his wisdom gave us permission to be naughty and take the consequences. He gave us this right, and politicians have slapped God in the face, and are not content with burning in Hell for that alone, you see persecuting us is just more gasoline on the fire for these men who neither fear God or Man. These people delude themselves thinking that they can escape Heavens Judge. God please give them the same mercy that they are giving us Please!!!!

Weed stimulates the economy!
Think about it.
Someone grows a plant/buys (grows for free or buys).
Sells to someone else.
The seller now has money to buy.
The buyer smokes and gets the munchies.
Soon after the consumer goes to the store/restaurant to eat/pick up some goodies.
The consumer is happy, the seller is happy, and the store/restaurant gets more business.
In the case that the consumer shares with friends, the store/restaurant gets even more business.

This is a issue i definatly support.
I think it's time America grew a brain, and we get together and take this country back. Another point i'd like to make that they didnt not mention, is The Anti-pot Commercials on television, are always directed toward young teenagers. I agree with the fact no one should be smoking pot if they are not responsible with it, that would usually be young teenagers, But what about us adults? Can a person of legal age, that is a responsible person not smoke in the home? I agree that is absoulutly ridculous, I grew up in a home with alcholics and Meth-heads, I can definatly agree with what the man said about it being common knowledge that MARIJUANA, is unharmful to the conpared. And The fact that they are at the playboy mansion((@ASHLEY APRIL 28TH)) having a fun time, is irrelivant to the cause.

I do agree that this may not be the most appropriate venue to get 'the message' out about decriminalization/legalization of medical and recreational Cannabis use, but I do not think that the underlying goal wasn't accomplished. Vital capital was raised, money that will probably be used to appropriately lobby and push for Cannabis reform. Getting some semi-influential celebrities with deep pockets couldn't hurt the cause either. Keep up the good work MPP!
